The children have settled well into their new Year 1 class and have adapted well to the change in their teaching and learning from Reception. Well done!

Homework

We kindly ask that you read as often as possible using your child’s book bag book or online Oxford owl storybook. The more children read, the more they read with fluency and expression which in turn supports your child’s understanding of books.

Please can children bring their reading books into school every day.

Each child will find a numbots and spelling shed password in their reading records. Please take some time to play Numbots to develop your child’s mental maths skills or play games on spelling shed.
