Wooden Hill Primary and Nursery School

This Week 20.01.20

This week has been our test week. It has been an opportunity for the children to show us what they can do and for us to learn what to teach them next.

When we haven't been doing tests, we have been doing some exciting learning.

Maths - this week, we have been learning to convert between fractions, decimals and percentages and learning the relationship between these.

English - we continued our learning about Victorian London and read the next chapter of 'Street Child' where we are introduced to workhouses and the part they played in the Victorian times.

Foundation - In art, we were using a viewfinder to concentrate on detail within William Morris designs. In science, we studied Charles Darwin and his findings from the Galapagos Islands. In history, we took a look back at Bracknell's history and discussed the changes which have occured.
