This Week (25.11.19)
On Monday, we started off doing maths. We learnt to multiply by an integer. We also had to create a representation and count the numerator to find the total.
Moving onto English, we were writing a formal letter to persuade. Making it the best it could be.
Finally, in the afternoon, we created our own animal and had to describe all the small details.
First of all, we did maths where we had to recap on what we did the day before.
In English, we were writing an informal letter to persuade using the topic of the book we are all reading in class.
In the afternoon, we wrote a brochure on Brazil and why you should go there.
Starting off the day, we were learning to divide a fraction by an integer and simplify the fraction when needed.
After that, in English we used role play to preform parts of the texts.
Finally, in the afternoon, we had a nice sinning assembly with all ks1 and all ks2.
In the morning, we started off with maths where we had to divide fractions by an integer.
In English, we were making inferences about a character based on a text using this to write a diary entry.
In the afternoon, we were learning about John the Baptist in RE. Also we did PE.
In the morning, we started off with playing roles that we need to practise for the musical Matilda.
In English, we focused on a poem where we needed find all the different features.
In the afternoon, we did PE and we finished of designing our creatures
