Wooden Hill Primary and Nursery School

This Week (wb 12.11.19)

This week, we have continued to focus our maths learning on fractions. Since it has been 'Barvember', we have also been practising using a bar to answer our addition and subtraction of fraction questions as well as some general maths problems.

In English, we have read Chapters 4 and 5 of  Journey to the River Sea by Eva Ibbotson. From this, we have completed reading tasks relating to vocabulary and punctuation and the choices the author has made.

Given that it is Anti-Bullying Week, we created posters about what bullying is, what it means and the actions we can take to prevent it. We also had visitors, Mark and Gabby, from Great Hollands Free Church who discussed anti-bullying week and how Jesus dealt with bullying.
