Wooden Hill Primary and Nursery School

First Aid Training

On Wednesday morning, we had visitors in from the local ambulance station teaching us all about CPR.

We were lucky to be a part of a national initiative that managed to teach 10, 000 school children how to carry out CPR during the day. We watched a video that showed us how to push down on the chest and what we should do in an emergency. Although we found it hard work, we all really enjoyed it. At the end we were able to ask questions about the job of a paramedic and find out some more interesting facts about what a paramedic has to do.
