Excitement Builds Ahead of the Queen's Visit
The two winners and Mrs Lagares are getting excited ahead of the Queen's visit to Bracknell.
Many children children put their pens to paper in a bid to win the competition to see the Queen, when she visits Bracknell on Friday 19 October 2018. The entries were fantastic and Mrs Lagares enlisted the help of the children's class teachers to whittle down to 5 entries across the school. The winners were rewarded for their hard work by receiving a book presented to them by Mrs Barley in a whole school assembly and the two final winners were announced.
It was an incredibly tough decision and the teachers were thrilled by the entries in each class. Unfortunately, there could only be two winners... Accompanying Mrs Lagares to see the Queen on Friday 19th October are Cody (Y3) and Akira (YR).
We are hoping that Cody and Akira will put pen to paper again after 'meeting' the Queen to share with the school their experiences...
