Wooden Hill Primary and Nursery School

Year Two are Fundraisers!

Over the last month, Year Two have been extremely busy fundraising!

We are, as a school, raising money to replace interactive whiteboards!

The Year Two children decided they wanted to do as much as possible to raise funds.

Over the last month, the children have been extremely busy writing letters to persuade local businesses to donate to our raffle.

We have had some incredible prizes and have been sent lovely items from national companies such as; Dartington, Lapland Uk and Bayliss and Harding. We have also been so touched by local companies who have donated prizes- a full list of prizes has been sent home!

As well as this, Rabbit Class have been extremely lucky. A business man based in Manchester, Adam Deering, has donated us a new interactive whiteboard! It arrived on Monday! We are so thankful, and can't believe our luck. The children have enjoyed writing letters to thank Mr Deering.

The children are extremely passionate about raising money for the school, and so are the teachers!

We are incredibly proud of the children's efforts, and would like to thank everyone who has supported our fundraising.

We will be selling raffle tickets from October 18th, and the raffle will be drawn at the school's Christmas Fundraiser on 6th December.

Please speak to Miss Smart or Miss Bolton if you are able to support us in any way.
