Welcome to Year 2

We are really looking forward to welcoming all the children into Year 2.

Your child will read in school as often as possible so please ensure that they have their reading folder in school every day. We would strongly encourage daily reading at home and ask that you record any reading activities in your child’s reading record. These will be checked weekly on book change day.

To support learning at home, children will also have access Times Table Rock Stars to practise times tables and Oxford Owl to support their phonics and reading learning. These details can be found in the front cover of their Reading record book.
