Path Clear Up

Wooden Hill family clear the path on Wooden Hill
After watching Wooden Hill children slipping and sliding on the leaves and mud on the footpath leading to the school, Alex (Y3) and his Dad decided to take action.
For weeks Alex and his family have been watching the leaves and mud build up on the footpath and fearing a nasty accident happening to a pupil or parent from Wooden Hill, they decided to clear the path. As you can see from the pictures, it was hard, messy work as there were layers and layers of leaves and mud on the path. They spent a significant amount of time on Saturday clearing the leaves and mud and afterwards Alex enjoyed riding his bike on the path without fear of slipping.
A huge thank you goes to Alex and his Dad for spending the weekend making the path safe for the children at Wooden Hill School - an incredible job!
