We are proud of the breath of the curriculum that our children here at Wooden Hill experience and are always looking for research-based ways of continuously improving our offer.  

A key part of our 2022-2023 School Development Plan (SDP) was to research, review and re-energise our curriculum to ensure that it provides the best knowledge, skills and experiences for our children.

We have engaged with the latest educational research as well as action research in order to further develop our curriculum to help our children to understand their place in the world geographically, historically, culturally and socially. A key element of our curriculum rationale is to focus on subject disciplines to ensure progression of knowledge and skills within each area of learning.
